Why we exist
Most farmers make high-stakes decisions — what to plant, how to treat a sick crop, when and where to sell — with very little reliable, timely guidance in their own language. The advice that exists is often too slow, too generic, or locked behind a middleman. We think modern AI, used carefully, can change that.
Our approach is simple: start with the problem that hurts most today, solve it properly, and expand outward along the value chain — never shipping something we wouldn't trust ourselves.
What we're building
A single platform across the five things a farmer actually needs. Each piece talks to the next, so the intelligence compounds.
Krishi Anna — our live product
Krishi Anna ("the farmer's elder brother") is our crop-health assistant on WhatsApp. A farmer sends a photo or describes the problem in their own language — by text, voice note, or call — and gets a clear answer in seconds: what's wrong, what to do now, how to prevent it, and fertiliser guidance. It's free.
How we work
- AI-native. AI isn't a feature bolted on — it's how the service runs end to end.
- Grounded, not guessed. Advice is anchored in established agricultural practice (ICAR, KVK, TNAU), not free-floating generation.
- Your language. Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, English — and more to come. No English needed.
- Safe by design. We never hand out a raw chemical dose blindly. Anything high-risk is held back with a "confirm with your KVK / agri expert" note.
Where we are
We're early and building in the open. Crop Health is live on WhatsApp today; the rest of the platform is in active development. If you're a farmer, a distributor, or a potential partner, we'd love to hear from you.
